Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a professional environment
  • Experience with an HRIS, preferably Workday
  • Experience with processing a payroll system, preferably ADP Workforce Now
  • An understanding of compensation market data and experience with benchmarking submissions
  • Experience with administering a year-end compensation process with discretionary incentives
  • Experience running benefits orientations and resolving issues related to benefits claims
  • Experience in managing employee leave plans (Parental Leave, FMLA, STD, LTD, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical skills and expertise with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Process-oriented and very strong attention to detail
  • Efficient time management and strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work independently, apply judgement and discretion, as well as be part of a team
Responsibilities
  • Supporting benefits, compensation, and payroll
  • Involvement in select initiatives and ad-hoc projects
  • Improving and shaping HR policies and practices
  • Completing onboarding-related activities and assisting employees with enrollment
  • Ensuring accuracy of benefits elections in the HRIS
  • Partnering with external vendors for employee benefits
  • Managing the annual benefits calendar and events
  • Managing employee relations regarding benefits
  • Reviewing and submitting payroll reports
  • Acting as a liaison between employees, HR, payroll, and tax departments
  • Playing a vital role in the administration of the year-end compensation process
  • Providing guidance and supporting data for compensation decisions
  • Coordinating period submissions such as regulatory filings and market data benchmarking
  • Handling ad-hoc reporting requests
  • Updating compensation and HRIS systems
  • Managing relationships with employees and leaders
