Requirements
  • Experience with sourcing accurate parts, ticket building, and presenting repairs is required.
  • A driving record acceptable to the current insurance carrier is required.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based computer software and automotive store applications is required.
  • The position requires standing and walking for most of the workday, occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 pounds, and maintaining a brisk pace in a high-volume environment.
  • The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
  • Greet every guest who enters the facility with hospitality and respect.
  • Present the best solution to properly repair the guest’s vehicle in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Manage the store’s workflow effectively and efficiently.
  • Sell services consistently and effectively without jeopardizing honesty and integrity.
  • Communicate on the phone in a clear, professional manner.
  • Build long-term relationships among the store, the service advisor, and the guest.
  • Direct, coordinate, and participate in guest-service activities.
  • Shuttle guests as needed in a company-branded vehicle.
  • Ensure that all repairs are performed to proper specifications.
  • Work as part of the team and assist other employees as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in an automotive customer-service, automotive service-sales, service-writer, or service-advisor role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with TekMetric is helpful.
  • Familiarity with PartsTech and other automotive store applications is helpful.
