Jameda is a digital healthcare platform in Germany that connects patients with healthcare providers, letting people search for doctors, read reviews, and book appointments online. Patients browse doctors, see reviews, and schedule visits, while providers use premium plans to gain more visibility and to manage online bookings. It combines doctor discovery, patient reviews, and online appointment scheduling with tiered premium offerings for providers in one platform. Its goal is to make it easier for patients to find and book medical care and for providers to grow their patient base with targeted visibility and management tools.

What believers are saying

  • The 2026 Noa Notes rollout aligns with Germany’s push for AI documentation by 2028.
  • The medatixx HealthHub partnership can cut double bookings and manual admin across practices.
  • Jameda’s existing patient traffic gives Docplanner a strong German distribution channel for cross-sell.

What critics are saying

  • German courts have repeatedly attacked Jameda’s ranking and review practices, inviting regulation.
  • Consumer advocates still criticize booking transparency, weakening trust among doctors and patients.
  • If medatixx or Docplanner deprioritize Jameda, the standalone brand loses strategic relevance.

What makes Jameda unique

  • Jameda reaches 4 million patients monthly and 30,000 medatixx-connected practices in Germany.
  • Noa Notes gives Jameda a defensible AI documentation wedge, used by 2,000 doctors since 2024.
  • Docplanner’s 2022 acquisition links Jameda to a 78-million-patient, 130,000-doctor European network.
