Store Executive

Job Description

We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven Store Executive to join our retail team in Mysuru, India. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of store operations, drive sales performance, and create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, operational excellence, and a passion for retail success.

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning of all departments
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals
• Recruit, train, and supervise store staff; conduct performance reviews and provide coaching
• Manage inventory levels, conduct stock audits, and optimize merchandise placement
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards and address customer concerns promptly
• Create visually appealing store displays and maintain store presentation standards
• Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and control operational expenses
• Analyze sales data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and opportunities
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with regional management and cross-functional teams to implement company initiatives
• Schedule staff efficiently to meet operational needs and maintain labor cost targets
• Maintain store security, safety standards, and loss prevention protocols

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail store management or similar operational leadership role
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Demonstrated sales acumen and track record of achieving revenue targets
• Proficiency in inventory management and stock control systems
• Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
• Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and P&L analysis
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail management software
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data and metrics
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of visual merchandising and retail best practices
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required
• Preferred: Experience with data analysis tools and retail analytics platforms
• Preferred: Background in customer relationship management (CRM) systems
