The Senior Analyst will be part of FrontierView's global research team. The global research team produces all syndicated content for FrontierView's client base of several thousand senior executives at multinational organizations. The team combines regional knowledge, macroeconomic and political insights, and business acumen to provide impactful analysis, forecasts, and executional advice for a senior executive audience. They work in close collaboration with the commercial team in supporting FrontierView's growth strategy and ongoing client relationships
The Europe research team supports clients globally on economic and political analysis and its implications for businesses across a range of markets in Western and Central Europe. Each analyst covers a set of countries for which they are responsible for market monitoring, creating a foundational view on their short and long-term outlook, economic forecasting, political analysis, and sharing their views and findings through regular written publications and client-facing presentations. The team also collaborates on pan-European issues like eurozone monetary policy, EU policies and their impact on businesses, and Europe's overall stance in global geopolitics. The senior analyst will have an opportunity to work closely with colleagues on these issues, while having significant oversight over their assigned markets. The countries specific to this role will be a mix of Western and Central European markets, depending on the profile and skillsets of the candidate selected

About the Position

The Senior Analyst will report to our Director for Europe research and will be part of the overall Europe research team at FrontierView. They will get a unique perspective on how macroeconomic and political trends impact business plans and operations of the world’s largest multinationals. They will also have an opportunity to monitor, analyse, and create a view on a range of economic, political, and policy issues across Europe.

What Sets You Apart:

A Bachelor’s degree from a well-regarded academic institution in Economics, Regional Studies, or International Relations
A Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., international economics)
Demonstrated knowledge of macroeconomics through prior experience or relevant coursework
2+ years of work experience in a research or analysis role, ideally in or for the private sector
Demonstrated knowledge of Europe through education, work, personal experience, etc. A solid understanding of European institutions is a plus, as is local knowledge for any set of markets across Western or Central Europe
Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and oral. We are looking for someone able to distill complex and technical topics for non-specialists and able to clearly explain their relevance and impact to business executives
Experience in managing multiple projects at once; excellent time and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to cover a variety of topics and issues, including unfamiliar ones
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
Language skills for any major European language are a plus, but not required
Familiarity with or experience in the private sector is a plus
Robust interpersonal, communication, presentation, and persuasion skills
Outstanding writing skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
A team-oriented mindset
