As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll have the unique opportunity to define not just our product but our design culture and processes. Joining a small, passionate team, your work will have an outsized impact on shaping tools that empower developers in one of the fastest-growing fields today. WHAT THIS ROLE REQUIRES

• Experience building developer-focused products.

• A portfolio demonstrating strong visual design skills and the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with technical tools like Git or VS Code and proficiency (or eagerness to learn) React, HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.  We’re regularly jumping into the codebase with our engineers to polish the UI

• Ability to work with customers and lead projects end-to-end; we don’t have PMs.

• Strong problem-solving skills used to design intuitive solutions that ship quickly for highly technical users.

• Desirey to collaborate closely with engineers to ship, iterate, and improve products based on customer feedback.

• Enthusiasm for working directly with customers to prototype and test your designs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Own and lead the full product design process: research, PRDs, prototypes, design reviews, specs, and PRs.

• Work directly with engineering and leadership to solve product problems. 

• Collaborate closely with customers to gather product feedback, validate designs, and test prototypes.

• Shape and refine Baseten’s visual identity and design system across product and marketing.

• Play a key role in establishing Baseten’s design culture, design processes and upholding high standards for product and design quality.
