Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in a project management, customer facing, or analytical role. Preference for experience with connected hardware products
  • You're a critical thinker, problem solver, enthusiastic and eager to take on new challenges
  • You have strong oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve and prioritize
  • You're an effective communicator and have the ability to collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions
  • You have experience with survey creation and other methods of obtaining user feedback about the product experience
  • You have project management skills, including the ability to work across teams to plan, track and drive cross-functional deliverables, priorities, and issues for projects of all sizes
  • You're able to translate technical issues into high-level examples of customer impacting issues or situations
  • You have previous experience working in a customer facing role
  • You have experience (and enjoy!) digging into data and building reports
  • You have exceptional problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills, as well as a strong attention to detail
  • You're highly productive despite distractions and perpetual collaboration, with a proven ability to work as part of a fast-paced team
  • "Voice of the Customer" experience a plus
  • Jira and Centercode experience a plus
Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct studies to validate consumer acceptance of product concepts and features
  • Cross-functionally collaborate to devise validation plans complying with each project plan of record
  • Support preparation of study documentation (study protocols, surveys, consent forms, etc.)
  • Manage ongoing user testing including recruiting user participants, organizing onboarding, executing on a sustainable program, driving customer feedback
  • Deliver clear, concise and objective verbal and written communication appropriate for the target audience
  • Directly support test participants through effective communication and troubleshooting practices. Maintain a friendly and helpful demeanor with testers at all times
  • Review and analyze various forms of feedback including, but not limited to: Surveys, issue reports, suggestion reports, and open discussions
  • Help turn feedback into insights. Help turn insights into world-class products. Act as the eyes and ears of our customers by knowing what's really happening in the field, and work cross-functionally to convert issues into opportunities
  • Prepare weekly summary reports displaying trends and progress against project goals and overall program success
  • Oversee test logistics including unit shipping and retrieval
  • Be the voice of the customer and advocate for best experience on their behalf. Act as a liaison between Engineering, Marketing, and Beta testers in this regard
  • Set and meet commitments. Create Beta test and feedback plans, specific dates, and provide regular status updates communicating progress towards commitments
  • Communicate program status, risks, and next steps to Product Management and vested team members. Manage multiple projects simultaneously
