Requirements
- A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation are required.
- Bilingual English and Spanish language skills are required.
- Ability to work and commute in and around the Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Seaside areas is required.
- Ability to pass a background check according to state industry standards is required.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, email, and basic data entry, is required.
Responsibilities
- Coach clients on building independent living skills such as cooking, budgeting, and hygiene.
- Encourage, motivate, and support clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.
- Help plan, create, and organize weekly goals and schedules that work for clients.
- Provide consistent documentation of client progress through case notes and quarterly reports.
- Spend approximately 90% of the time in the field with clients and 10% on administrative and documentation work.
- Collaborate with program managers, regional center coordinators, and training staff.
Desired Qualifications
- Behavioral health experience is preferred but not required.
