Requirements
  • An M.D. degree or the foreign equivalent is required.
  • Oregon medical licensure or eligibility for licensure is required.
  • Board Certification or eligibility for Board Certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology is required.
  • Completion of a pediatric neuro-oncology fellowship, or at least 3 years of practice as a neuro-oncologist, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Assume clinical care of children, adolescents, and young adults with brain tumors as a member of the pediatric brain tumor program at OHSU.
  • Participate in administrative and leadership responsibilities as assigned by the Division Head.
  • Participate in fellow training and student and resident educational programs of the Department.
  • Serve on committees and councils of OHSU.
  • Participate in outreach and public service programs and professional societies with the knowledge and consent of the Chair.
  • Conduct collaborative clinical, translational, and/or health systems research at OHSU.
  • Fund research efforts as necessary through grants and contracts.
