Requirements
  • The candidate must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid driver's license.
  • The candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • The candidate must pass a Department of Transportation-mandated pre-employment drug test for operation of a Department of Transportation-regulated vehicle.
  • The candidate must be able to work within a team environment.
  • The candidate must be able to troubleshoot customer issues related to installation and service.
  • The candidate must be able to perform basic mechanical and/or electrical duties.
  • The candidate must demonstrate strong customer focus and respond positively to challenging customer situations.
  • The candidate must meet the company's fleet safety requirements and maintain a clean driving record.
  • The candidate must be able to carry 50 pounds by hand.
  • The candidate must be able to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn, and reach.
  • The candidate must be able to climb a ladder as high as 20 feet.
Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain the company's products safely, accurately, and on time.
  • Meet and control operational goals and timelines, including service labor per hour, first-time-right performance, and 5S standards.
  • Comply with internal processes and procedures and all local and federally regulated requirements, including Department of Transportation, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate parts and supply levels in company service vehicles and maintain proper paperwork standards.
  • Communicate with customers to ensure product performance meets their expectations.
  • Service customers' needs efficiently and professionally and train and coach them on the system as needed.
  • Use iPhone applications for parts management, customer notes, and clocking in and out.
  • Perform installation work at night when required; schedules vary according to customer demand and the installation schedule.
