Duties and Responsibilities
- Participates in the design and delivery of training programs, including presentation materials
- Conducts training needs assessments and provide recommendations
- Teaches others through classroom facilitation and feedback.
- Assists in the development of monthly training programs, scheduling, training calendar release and administration
- Designs, develops and implements training curriculum, seminars and educational resources for participants.
- Coordinates with local agencies to provide additional training courses for Welfare-To-Work participants. Maintains current knowledge of County resources and agencies, including community events, seminars and workshops.
- Designs, develops and implements training curriculum, seminars and educational resources for Staff.
- Maintains up to date with Program Guide and Regulations.
- Works in partnership with existing Trainers in training development and delivery.
- Monitors, evaluates and records staff / participant progress.
- Works in partnership with Staff to provide support, coaching and development for participants.
- Ensures that PCG objectives and monthly goals are met and support contractual goals.
- Be able to travel to all Offices based on the needs.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of commonly used training concepts, practices and procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to compose reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of MS Windows, Excel and Word preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Experience in a classroom setting; taught workshops, seminars etc. 1-2 years’ experience teaching adults
- Knowledge of the needs and characteristics of adult learners.
- Must have competent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be computer literate and have MS Word, Excel, Access, PPT and Internet skills. Ability to learn specialized databases and software systems.
- Ability to recognize and maintain the confidentiality of all materials in the work setting.
- Ability to work across all levels of management and staff.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with federal, state and county agencies as well as the general public.
- Ability to partner with and motivate participants including those with both physical and/or mental disabilities.
- Display a professional level of empathy for participants and respect for cultural differences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience in coaching and development preferred; At least 2 years of experience in training/workforce development
Working Conditions

As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $64,480 - $74,480. yearly. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
