Role overview: 

As Nursa continues to drive business growth, the company is seeking experienced Regional General Managers (RGMs). RGMs will be critical, senior leaders at Nursa and will report directly to the COO. They will be responsible for owning regional P&Ls, and growing and expanding Nursa’s business across their respective regions. RGMs will own their own business end-to-end, which will include activities such as: revenue growth, customer acquisition, engagement, profitability, quality, reliability, and operational metric success. They will build and lead a large team over time and will be expected to set their multi-layered team up for success. This is a unique opportunity to set and execute on a vision for a high-growth company in a fast-moving, dynamic, and multi-sided marketplace.

We are prioritizing candidates that live in Chicago, however we are open to candidates from all over the Midwest: Illinois, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin

Responsibilities:

• P&L ownership, with the ability to demonstrate accountability to top-line and bottom-line results for your region. You will be responsible for growing revenue, profits, consumers, and consumer engagement in a highly competitive space

• Develop a vision for your regional team, with a roadmap on how to achieve it

• Take ownership over Nursa’s growth and persevere through any challenge to complete the task

• Establish a strong point of view on what your regional strategy needs to be and how you will achieve success. As part of this, you will deeply understand your region’s competitive landscape and will develop a perspective on how to differentiate (e.g., pricing strategies, customer experience tactics)

• Establish a culture of data and analytical excellence. You’ll build a team who is data-driven in their thinking, uses data and analytics to craft strategies, and frequently uses SQL and Excel modeling to drive insights. Your team should design dashboards and monitoring tools to identify trends and opportunities, and to inform product development

• Build a stellar team of leaders, operators, and problem solvers who will deliver on results for growth (supply and demand), and customer success. You’ll inspire and motivate your team to achieve your vision

• Work strategically with other leaders and peers in data, product, engineering, marketing and corporate functions to collaboratively set key performance indicators and objectives

Qualifications: 

• 10+ years of experience leading operations, scaling teams, and analyzing business opportunities 

• Experience leading leaders, overseeing multiple multi-layered functions

• Proven ability to design and build strategies, partnering with other functions such as Product

• P&L ownership experience at scale

• Experience operating in two-sided marketplaces; with previous GM experience a plus

• MBA a plus
