Requirements
  • An associate degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Two to five years of administrative experience.
  • Strong organization, scheduling, prioritization, communication, and follow-through skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Forms, and OneNote.
  • Demonstrated initiative in being proactive, anticipating needs, and implementing effective action steps.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapt to changing priorities, effectively handle frequent interruptions, and maintain accuracy while managing multiple deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, discretion, sound judgment, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a first point of contact for students visiting the Academic Success and Academic Affairs office while helping maintain a welcoming and professional office environment.
  • Assist with check-in for student appointments and connect students to other departments as needed for appropriate support.
  • Support Academic Success projects and initiatives and assist with the development and maintenance of resources.
  • Maintain departmental data in institutional databases and monitor the department inbox.
  • Prepare meeting materials, take meeting notes, track action items, coordinate travel and professional development logistics, and support hiring and recruitment activities.
  • Assist with purchasing, invoices, supplies, room reservations, and other operational needs.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree.
  • Experience supporting a department, program, or team.
  • Experience in higher education or medical education.
  • Smartsheet experience.
