Requirements
  • 7–9+ years in SEO, technical SEO, organic growth, digital strategy, or search — with 3+ years managing direct reports, developing talent, setting team priorities, and leading through ambiguity; background in global B2B tech, SaaS, cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, data, or enterprise software preferred.
  • Strong technical SEO expertise across crawlability, indexation, rendering, structured data, site architecture, internal linking, redirects, canonicals, page speed, Core Web Vitals, international SEO, and enterprise CMS workflows.
  • Strong understanding of AEO, GEO, AI search visibility, LLM-driven discovery, AI Overviews, answer engines, citation analysis, prompt tracking, entity optimization, and structured content.
  • Proven ability to build SEO/AEO strategies that connect to business outcomes, not just traffic. Strong analytical skills and experience building dashboards, performance narratives, executive reporting, and KPI frameworks — with hands-on experience in seoClarity, GSC, GA4, Screaming Frog, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, AEM, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Skilled at influencing senior stakeholders and translating technical complexity into clear business recommendations; strong cross-functional leadership across content, web, product marketing, demand gen, PR, analytics, engineering, and agency partners.
  • Experience supporting global launches, enterprise campaigns, thought leadership programs, and large-scale web/content optimization initiatives.
  • Strategic, analytical, and operational mindset — able to connect big-picture direction to day-to-day execution in a fast-moving space where best practices are still evolving
Responsibilities
  • Lead SEO/AEO Strategy and Roadmap: Define and lead Veeam's global SEO, AEO, and AI search strategy — translating business priorities into measurable organic discovery programs across markets, personas, product lines, and buying stages; support roadmap development covering technical SEO, content optimization, AI answer visibility, entity authority, competitive share of voice, and always-on performance; partner with leadership to operationalize how SEO/AEO supports launches, campaigns, thought leadership, and web experiences.
  • Lead the Team and Manage Execution: Manage, coach, and develop the SEO/AEO team — setting priorities, assigning ownership, managing capacity, and creating clarity around roles and decision-making. Build repeatable frameworks and governance models for keyword strategy, prompt tracking, technical audits, content briefs, launch measurement, AI visibility reporting, and competitive monitoring. Manage agency and vendor relationships for strategic output; raise the standard of SEO/AEO work across Veeam by educating stakeholders and embedding best practices into content, web, and campaign planning.
  • Drive Technical SEO and Site Authority at Enterprise Scale: Own the technical SEO roadmap in partnership with Web, IT, UX, Engineering, Analytics, and Digital — prioritizing initiatives that improve crawlability, indexation, site speed, structured data, internal linking, information architecture, content discoverability, and conversion paths. Ensure Veeam's web ecosystem is built for both traditional search engines and AI-driven retrieval systems. Translate complex technical issues into business impact and secure cross-functional alignment for implementation.
  • Build Veeam's AI Search and Answer-Engine Discipline: Define how Veeam measures and improves visibility across AI search and answer engines — supporting prompt strategy and partnering with Marketing Ops on AI visibility tracking, answer sentiment, citation analysis, competitive monitoring, and recommendation-rate measurement. Identify where Veeam is missing, misrepresented, under-cited, or under-recommended in AI-generated answers; partner cross-functionally to strengthen the authority signals AI systems rely on. Ensure Veeam content is structured to be clear, extractable, evidence-led, and aligned to how enterprise buyers ask questions.
  • Connect Organic Discovery to Business Impact: Define and track KPIs across rankings, organic traffic, engagement, conversions, AI answer visibility, LLM recommendation rate, competitive share of voice, branded/non-branded discovery, and launch performance. Build performance narratives that help leadership understand what is working, where Veeam is under-indexing, and where additional focus is needed. Use data to influence content strategy, web priorities, campaign planning, and category narrative development.
  • Influence Across the Organization: Act as a strategic partner to Web, Product Marketing, Demand Gen, PR/Comms, Brand, Analytics, and regional teams — bringing a clear point of view on how buyer behavior is changing as search shifts from links to answers and recommendations. Help stakeholders understand that SEO/AEO is a technical, content, authority, and measurement discipline — not a publishing checklist. Represent SEO/AEO priorities in planning, launch readiness, QBRs, and executive and strategic business reviews

Lucy Hur, Chief People Officer at Veeam, said the recognition reflects the company's values-driven culture built on collaboration, innovation, curiosity, and ownership, empowering employees to grow while delivering meaningful business impact. "Knowing that 83% of our employees say Veeam is a great place to work proves our values are reflected in their everyday experience." - Lucy Hur, Chief People Officer, Veeam Veeam CEO Anand Eswaran emphasized that people remain the company's greatest competitive advantage in the AI era, noting that organizations combining human expertise with artificial intelligence will be best positioned to deliver superior customer outcomes. Veeam marks a decade as Leader in Gartner Magic Quadrant for Backup & Data Protection.

Veeam marks a decade as Leader in Gartner Magic Quadrant for Backup & Data Protection. Veeam Software has once again been recognized as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Backup & Data Protection Platforms, marking its 10th consecutive year in the Leaders Quadrant. The company was also positioned highest in the Ability to Execute category for the seventh straight year, underscoring its continued leadership in data resilience and protection. The announcement, made on July 1, 2026, highlights Veeam's growing focus on what it calls "Data and AI Trust," as enterprises accelerate adoption of artificial intelligence and agentic systems. With IT environments becoming more complex and AI agents interacting directly with enterprise data, organizations are increasingly prioritizing the need for secure, governed, and resilient data infrastructures. "To trust data in the AI era, organizations must go beyond backup and recovery to fully understand, secure, and govern their data," said Anand Eswaran, CEO of Veeam. Veeam's platform is designed to deliver a unified trust layer that integrates data security, governance, compliance, privacy, and resilience. This approach enables enterprises to manage both structured and unstructured data across production and backup environments, ensuring they can recover critical data quickly and confidently in the event of disruptions. The recognition from Gartner follows a year of significant innovation for Veeam, including its acquisition of Securiti AI and enhancements to its product portfolio. Among the key developments is the integration of the DataAI Command Graph, which strengthens data classification and security posture management across live and backup environments. This enables organizations to apply precise policies, improve compliance, and prioritize data recovery during cyber incidents. Veeam has also expanded its capabilities in cyber resilience through Coveware, offering 24/7 incident response services and cyber extortion readiness support. Additionally, the introduction of a hardened Linux-based backup appliance eliminates dependence on Windows systems while incorporating built-in security features such as multi-factor authentication and immutable storage. As AI adoption accelerates, Veeam highlights a growing gap between the speed of AI innovation and the ability of organizations to govern and protect the data these systems rely on. The company aims to address this challenge by helping enterprises build stronger visibility, control, and recovery capabilities across the entire data lifecycle. With over 550,000 customers worldwide, including nearly 80% of Fortune 500 companies, Veeam continues to play a critical role in enabling organizations to strengthen resilience, mitigate cyber risks, and support secure AI-driven transformation.

Acronis vs Veeam: which backup solution is right for your business?

Acronis vs Veeam: which backup solution is right for your business? Choosing the right backup solution is one of the most important IT decisions for any business. Two of the leading options - Acronis Cyber Protect and Veeam Backup & Replication - take different approaches to data protection. This guide breaks down how they compare across the factors that matter most to SMEs. Overview. Acronis Cyber Protect is an integrated backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity platform. It combines backup with anti-malware, vulnerability assessments, and patch management in a single agent. Veeam Backup & Replication is a dedicated backup and recovery solution known for its deep virtualisation support, flexible architecture, and broad cloud integration. It focuses on doing backup exceptionally well. Feature comparison. Backup & recovery. Both platforms offer image-based backups, granular file recovery, and bare-metal restore. Veeam has historically led in VM-level backup with native support for VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V. Acronis supports these hypervisors too, while also offering direct physical-to-cloud and cloud-to-cloud backup. Cybersecurity integration. This is Acronis's key differentiator. Acronis Cyber Protect bundles AI-based anti-malware, URL filtering, and exploit prevention directly into the backup agent. Veeam does not include endpoint security - you'll need a separate EDR or antivirus solution alongside it. For businesses looking to reduce the number of agents and management consoles, Acronis's all-in-one approach can significantly simplify operations. Cloud & SaaS protection. Both platforms offer Microsoft 365 backup. Acronis extends SaaS protection to Google Workspace as well. Veeam's cloud connect programme provides a mature ecosystem for service providers hosting offsite backup repositories. Management & usability. Acronis is managed through a web-based console that combines all functions - backup, security, patch management - in one view. Veeam's console is powerful but more complex, aimed at IT professionals managing large virtualised environments. For SMEs without a dedicated IT team, Acronis's unified console is generally easier to adopt. Pricing models. Acronis uses per-workload licensing (per device or per GB of cloud storage), with tiered editions that bundle different feature sets. Veeam uses per-socket licensing for VMs and per-workload licensing for physical servers, Microsoft 365, and cloud workloads. Veeam's Community Edition offers a free tier for small environments (up to 10 workloads). For most SMEs, Acronis tends to offer more predictable pricing because backup and security are bundled. Veeam can be more cost-effective if you already have separate security tooling in place. When to choose Acronis. * You want backup and endpoint security in one platform. * You need a solution that non-technical staff can manage. * You're backing up a mix of physical, virtual, and cloud workloads. * You value a single vendor for data protection and cybersecurity. When to choose Veeam. * Your environment is heavily virtualised (VMware/Hyper-V). * You already have a robust endpoint security stack. * You need advanced recovery orchestration for disaster recovery. * You want a mature service provider ecosystem for offsite backup. Its recommendation. For Singapore SMEs seeking a streamlined, all-in-one solution, Systemsable recommend Acronis Cyber Protect. The integrated cybersecurity reduces complexity and cost, and the web-based console is manageable even without a full-time IT team. If your business runs a large virtualised infrastructure and already invests in dedicated security tooling, Veeam remains a strong contender for pure backup and recovery. Need help deciding? Customers spoke, and Veeam was named a gartner(r) Peer Insights(TM) Customers' Choice for Backup and Data Protection Platforms.

Customers spoke, and Veeam was named a gartner(r) Peer Insights(TM) Customers' Choice for Backup and Data Protection Platforms. When you're choosing a backup and data protection platform, you're not just buying software. You're choosing peace of mind knowing your company's data is protected, and you're setting the standard for what happens next: How confidently your team responds when an incident hits, how quickly you can restore, and how smoothly you keep moving afterward. Veeam Software is proud to share that Veeam has been recognized as a Customers' Choice in the 2026 Gartner Peer Insights(TM) Voice of the Customer for Backup and Data Protection Platforms, based on feedback from the individual end users based on their own experiences and who rely on Veeam every day. That matters to Veeam Software because it reflects experience, not promises, and it highlights what customers value most when it's time to recover. What your reviews say about the Veeam experience. Veeam Software believe the Voice of the Customer recognition is about more than having a strong product. In its opinion, it signals that customers are consistently having a strong experience with Veeam, both in what the platform can do and how it performs in real environments. That's what makes this feedback so meaningful. 124 verified reviewers gave Veeam an overall 4.8 out of 5 and a 98% willingness to recommend as on 31st of March 2026. When customers rated specific parts of the experience, the results were just as clear: 4.8/5 for Product Capabilities by 123 verified users, 4.7/5 for Support Experience by 121 verified users, and 4.7/5 for Deployment Experience by 122 verified users. Veeam Software feel the comments behind those scores fill in the why: strong capabilities, smoother implementation, and support that helps teams keep moving when time matters. What Customers' Choice says about Veeam. Veeam Software believe earning Customers' Choice reflects a combination of strong customer experience and adoption signals across the market. Here's what Veeam Software take away from that, and how it maps to what customers tell Veeam Software they value about Veeam: * Trust built on recoverability, not promises. Backups are table stakes. What customers care about is confident recovery across the environments they actually run, including hybrid, multicloud, and SaaS. Gartner defines backup and data protection platforms as technologies that capture point-in-time copies of enterprise data for the purpose of recovering it from multiple data loss scenarios, enhancing data protection initiatives, and expanding data insights and access capabilities. * Consistency across industries, regions, and company sizes. Veeam Software feel Voice of the Customer factors in review coverage across industry, company size, and region. That matters because the right solution has to work whether you're a lean IT team, a global enterprise, or anywhere in between. Veeam Software believe earning Customers' Choice signals that customers around the world are having a strong experience with Veeam, not just one pocket of the market. * A platform people would recommend. Reviews capture not only overall experience, but also Willingness to Recommend. That kind of confidence is earned through day-to-day reliability, responsive support, and a platform that keeps up as environments change. Customers say it best: The most important perspective isn't ours, it's the people using Veeam every day. * "Veeam is one of the best solutions on the market for virtual machine backups. We rely on Veeam globally to safeguard and backup our critical systems." - Manager, It Security And Risk Management * "With many years of proven use, it has consistently demonstrated high reliability, answering with stable performance over time. The solution also stays up to date with the latest features available on the market, allowing it to evolve alongside current industry trends and technological advancements." - IT Associate, Healthcare and Biotech * Veeam provides Veeam Software with the peace of mind for its backup solution. Their support is wonderful and to the point. - Network Administrator, Education Veeam Software is grateful customers take the time to share their experiences, and Veeam Software don't take that feedback lightly. Veeam Software use it to keep improving what's working, and to get better where Veeam Software need to, so Veeam continues to earn your trust in the moments that matter most. What's next: keep raising the bar for resilience. This recognition is based on customers taking time to share detailed experiences. Those reviews help other teams evaluate solutions, set expectations, and make decisions with more confidence. So, if you've left feedback on Gartner Peer Insights, thank you. You didn't just help Veeam, you helped the broader community. Veeam Software'll keep doing the work that earns trust: Making protection and recovery simpler to manage, stronger against modern threats, and flexible across where your data lives. If you're a Veeam customer, share your story about what's working well, what you'd change, and what you want to see next. Your feedback helps shape what Veeam Software build and improve.
