The eBay USIncentives team is looking for a Data Analyst responsible for working closely with business and analytics partners to transform data into actionable insights that inform decision-making processes and drive business strategy. This role willsupport KPI reporting, recurring/ ad-hoc analysis, data validation and help set up new operating rhythms.The US Incentives team is responsible for the Strategy and Operations of the Deals, Brand Outlet, Seller Funded Coupons and Retail Moments.
Own several key business insights dashboard,acting as liaison between end users and Analytics teams
Own and coordinate the execution of Analytics projects, serving as the point of contact between Analytics and the business unit while prioritizing projects
Perform ad-hoc data analyses using SQL, including customer segmentation, root cause analysis, etc., to understand business performance; make recommendations as needed
Be a thought partner and contributor in the creation, analysis, and readouts for team test and learn initiatives
Develop and/or modify dashboards (primarily in Tableau) to improve team insight into key metrics
Use knowledge of data analysis and SQL to implement data process improvements and/or decrease manual tasks through automation
Data-driven approach ensuring investment area success criteria are thoughtfully coordinated into planning and regularly analyzed to identify measurable takeaways
Bachelors in CS, Engineering, Math, Stats and Masters in Analytics or equivalent
3+ years of experience in data/business analysis
Expert in MS-Excel, Tableau, SQL & Python
Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, deep measurable insights, tracking and supervising metrics
Ability to synthesize sophisticated information from a variety of sources, tell a story and translate findings into implementable recommendations
Good attention to detail with the sense of responsibility for the flawless execution of assigned tasks
Superb communication skills and ability to work multi-functionally
Strong time management skills, including the discipline to get things done in ambiguous situations and the ability to work on multiple projects and navigate multiple partner engagements simultaneously
