Edelman is in search of a talented and driven Account Manager to join our expanding Corporate Communications practice in Sydney.

The position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work with local and international clients across the technology, financial, professional services and FMCG sectors. Experience in these sectors will be highly beneficial but not essential. What is more important is an interest in these areas and a proven track record providing exceptional client program management and delivery in corporate communications.

The candidate will be responsible for the development of strategic communications plans and the day-to-day management of their client's communication programs.

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven client and project management experience
An ability to flourish in a high performing environment
Experience working across multiple large accounts/projects and have an ability to deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment
Experience in developing new business proposals
A strong knowledge of the local media landscape and experience in generating earned media coverage
Ability to inspire, coach and motivate a team
Excellent writing skills
