  • BS and above in EE, ME, or Physics
  • 5 years of power electronics design and development experience or other related experiences
  • Design and validation experience with AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC
  • Experience in magnetics design and EMC
  • Deep understanding of power semiconductor device, IGBT and MOSFET switching characteristic, loss modeling and analysis
  • Experienced with working in electronic-lab environments and equipment
  • Experience in PCB design, schematic capture, and layout
  • Experience in modeling and control for power converters
  • Experience in embedded control programming

Responsibilities
  • Design and development of high-performance traction inverter, DC/DC converters, and on-board charger
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, layout, and firmware engineering teams to develop and design power electronics system
  • Be responsible for circuit topology selection, components selection, circuit board layout
  • Support control algorithm development, prototyping, testing and validation of power electronics products
  • Contribute to vehicle level integrations
  • Support firmware development for power electronics system
  • Develop and implement testing plans and procedures to validate the performance and reliability of power electronics systems
  • Work with suppliers to select and qualify components and materials for power electronics systems
