Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Design, schematic capture, and PCB layout of digital circuitry with FPGAs, high-speed transceivers, multi-GHz SerDes, clock distribution, and power distribution.
  • Cadence OrCAD Capture and PCB Editor.
  • Testing and debugging digital and analog circuitry using equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, DC power supplies.
  • C++, Python, RTL (VHDL or Verilog).
Responsibilities
  • Owning FPGA hardware designs and other electronics related designs integral to the underlying system of the quantum computer.
  • Collaborating across teams to ensure that designs meet the requirements of the overall system architecture and physical framework of the quantum computer.
  • Providing the hardware, firmware, and software required to run the system of the quantum computer.
  • Enabling the integration of custom proprietary components into a system that is the quantum computer.
