- Two years of required experience.

- ARDMS (OB) with FE certification is required.
- Experience in high-risk obstetrics and obstetrics/gynecology is required.
- Assessment skills must include height and weight measurement, interpretation of laboratory results, obtaining vital signs, patient health questionnaire/history/allergies, and pulse oximetry.
- Cardiovascular skills must include cardiac arrest and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Office-duty skills must include pharmacy calls, patient refill requests, and telephone triage.
- Professional knowledge and skills must include biohazard waste disposal, follow-up phone calls, medication refills, and patient teaching.
- Provide nursing care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Assess patients, administer treatments and medications, monitor health conditions, and educate patients about their care.
- Collaborate with providers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and promote positive patient outcomes.
- Perform simple workups, including blood pressure measurement and history of present illness collection, and place patients in exam rooms.
- Ability to draw blood.
- Medication reconciliation.
- Use of external fetal heart monitoring.
- Insulin administration.
- Labeling specimens.
- Urine analysis or clean-catch urine specimen collection.
- Vaginal specimen collection.
- Urine dipstick or urinalysis testing.
