Toyota Tsusho Systems acquires Digital Solution to strengthen engineering IT capabilities

Toyota Tsusho Systems Corporation (TTS) has acquired all shares of Digital Solution Inc (DSI), making the Hiroshima-based company a wholly owned subsidiary as of 3 March 2026. TTS positions engineering IT as a key growth area amid increasing complexity in manufacturing development processes and shorter product lifecycles. DSI brings strong technical capabilities in engineering IT, serving clients across manufacturing, medical and construction sectors. The companies had previously collaborated in select areas. The acquisition aims to combine DSI's engineering expertise and flexible development capabilities with TTS's broad customer base and service delivery strengths. This strategic integration will accelerate growth in TTS's engineering IT business whilst delivering enhanced solutions to support customers' advanced manufacturing needs. TTS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho Corporation.
