Requirements
  • B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • A good understanding of enterprise application integration, data migration (ETL), business intelligence
  • Ability to collaborate with customers and internal Accela teammates to establish a clear understanding of the requirements and possible solutions
  • A strong inclination for lifelong learning and the ability to acquire new technical skills
  • Previous development experience with JavaScript, Oracle/SQL would be a plus but not necessary.
  • Prior experience with the Accela Civic Platform and Accela Citizen Access is required.
Responsibilities
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored technical and business solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Business Analysts to drive effective technical decisions and workstreams.
  • Coordinate with Delivery Directors, Project Managers, Architects, and other team members, as well as customers, to deliver technology solutions that align with customer requirements.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end solution delivery, including design, testing, documentation, packaging, and deployment.
  • Contribute to the creation of redistributable packaged solutions for global customer use.
  • Champion best practices and delivery standards, ensuring positive user experiences.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to both the customer and the project team, managing expectations and promoting solution adoption.
  • Lead technical and architecture workshops to educate and engage customers.
  • Collaborate with the Solution Architecture team to incorporate customer feedback into productized packaged solutions.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
