PBC is seeking a Unit Assistant join our Warwick, RI team. This position will work remotely a few days a week. While insurance experience is not preferred, candidate should have a strong desire to learn.
Job Purpose
To support the administrative functions of the Affidavits servicing unit. To project the professional and courteous image of the company in the initial contact with clients.
Functions & Responsibilities
- Reviewing documents for accuracy and completion
- Timely and correct filing of Affidavits with the State and maintaining our internal systems/files
- Utilize various software/tools such as Outlook, Imageright, Qual corp, and AS400 among others
- Maintain pending or follow-up system
- Maintaining constant communication with brokers and teams inquiring about statuses
- Manage high volume workflow
- Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned
- Pursue a program for personal and professional development
Qualifications
- 2-3 years related experience
- MS Office proficiency
- Some knowledge of insurance helpful
- Organized self starter
- Detail oriented
