Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement and sourcing, experience with marketing procurement preferred
  • BA/BS degree in business, supply chain or related discipline, CPM certification a plus, MBA a plus
  • Successful track record of value creation from data-driven insights in sourcing or supply chain
  • Vast knowledge and interest in strategic sourcing and continuous improvement processes
  • Strong quantitative and analytical experience, including expertise with Excel and procurement systems
  • Professional training in negotiation practices a plus
  • Experience managing and leading a team of direct and indirect reports
  • Flexibility to travel (up to 25%) and flexibility to work weekends as required
Responsibilities
  • Collaborating with wide-range of cross-functional leaders to identify value creation opportunities and build effective sourcing strategies for the Marketing category
  • Developing, tracking and executing a pipeline of initiatives and benefits
  • Directing complex sourcing events and negotiations across all marketing categories
  • Monitoring marketing procurement performance against assigned strategic goals
  • Partnering with cross-functional leaders in building effective sourcing strategies across marketing categories based on rigorous analysis and involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Leading complex sourcing events and negotiations across all marketing spend categories
  • Implementing frameworks for the management of strategic supplier and internal relationships
  • Implementing and monitoring key performance indicators/scorecards for suppliers, actively engaging stakeholders in the process to ensure the relevant indicators are understood and tracked
