Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced infrastructure engineer to join our platform and development team. In this role, you will work with Platform Architects to migrate the our automation platform to the cloud and deliver on it. You will also be responsible for maintaining the RPA Platforms for Blue Prism and UiPath and be L3 support for it and solve issues reported by production support teams.
The ability to range from high level design to detailed technical work is essential to be successful in this role.
In this role, we are looking for a strong systems engineer to build and scale our automation platform environment consisting of BPM (Camunda/Appian), RPA (UiPath/Blue Prism) and Analytics (Splunk).
You should be a versatile player with proficiency in Cloud technologies such as IAAS, PAAS, Containerization.
What you will be responsible for
As an Automation Platform Engineer you will:
· Maintain and grow RPA Platforms for Blue Prism and UIPath, and develop roadmap to migrate it to the cloud
· Participate in design sessions, perform PoC to prove out a concept, and develop top quality automation solution spanning technologies such as Blue Prism, UIPath, Camunda, Appian, etc
- Support Use Case Hyper Care and transition to BAU support
- Address post production issues reported by BAU support
- Act as a liaison between the Platform Infrastructure team and the Production support team and ensure seamless communications between them
- Take Ownership of Platform L1 tickets, and Prod Support L2/L3 tickets
- Ensure CoE standards, best practices, toll gates and controls are implemented and followed Design and build robust, scalable and secure process automation solutions on the Azure Cloud Work with platform architects to define components responsibilities, plan components evolution, and ensure components will meet platform needs.
- Support operational activity to ensure quality and timely delivery of service to cloud tenants.
- Create automation scripts for all phases of SDLC
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by monitoring systems and submitted through the ticketing system of fully documented issues, actions taken, and steps for resolution
- Performing other tasks as defined, planned, and approved by Platform Architects.
What we value

- Expertise in RPA technologies such as BluePrism, UiPath, and other RPA products.
- Proficient in programming languages such a .NET, Python, C#
- Strong understanding of cloud native design patterns and DevOps principles (Infrastructure as Code)
- Experience in Cloud-based (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) Architecture.
- Experience DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps
- Conversant with workflow / Business Process Management tools such as Camunda, and Appian is a Plus Ability to synthesize multiple information sources and implement target architecture for various solutions in Automation Platform
- Excellent communication and relationship skills, especially the ability to articulate advanced technical topics; both verbal and written
- Time Management Skills - ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects and work effectively under pressure
- Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree.
- · Overall 10 years of experience in software development with 3 to 5 years acting a technical lead and solutions designer.
- 4 - 5 years of process automation experience.
- Blue Prism Developer or UI Path Developer certification strongly preferred
- Knowledge of BPMN, and BPM tools is a Plus
- Deep understanding of Azure IAAS, PAAS and SAAS solutions along with with cloud native design patterns and DevOps principles (Infrastructure as Code).
- Understanding of Agile delivery process is required.
- Ability to develop and document deliverables compliant with established company design control and regulatory statutes
- Financial services or regulated industry experience a huge plus
- Good English language skills
