Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the region
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results to corporate headquarters
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and corporate policies
  • Oversee the maintenance of the regional general ledger
  • Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts
  • Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast, providing explanations and recommendations for improvement
  • Work with regional managers to ensure budget adherence and financial performance
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards
  • Implement improvements to financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Provide financial analysis and support for business decisions
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by management
  • Support the day-to-day accounting functions by owning transactional accounting within the assigned accounting area for identified partner companies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regional accounting teams
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide support on accounting-related inquiries
  • Other duties as assigned
