Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a field related to the program.
  • Two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ability to organize, coordinate, and plan program operations and related activities.
  • Ability to conduct research, gather information, document program requirements, and develop operational or strategic input.
  • Ability to develop work plans, monitor progress, prepare publications and promotional materials, and produce operational and statistical reports.
  • Ability to manage program logistics, budgets, vendor relationships, records, and reporting.
  • Ability to provide developmental advising, informal counseling, mentoring, and support to students and student organizations.
Responsibilities
  • Develop work plans to accomplish program goals and objectives and monitor progress toward achievement.
  • Conduct research and gather information to develop publications.
  • Develop promotional materials, including content for reports, briefings, newsletters, grants, and other program-related written information.
  • Assist in developing and coordinating program-related conferences, conventions, and meetings.
  • Monitor expenditures, participate in budget planning, and prepare financial reports.
  • Assist in identifying funding resources and developing fundraising strategies and initiatives.
  • Prepare operational and statistical reports.
  • Conduct training, represent the program at meetings and conferences, and network with affiliated groups.
  • Oversee and manage a specific area of programming content, such as student organizations and events, leadership education and development, or orientation and transition programs.
  • Manage program logistics, budgets, and vendor relationships.
  • Provide developmental advising to student leaders and manage collaborations with students and student organizations.
  • Serve as a liaison between Campus Life offices to create collaborative partnerships and enhance student offerings.
  • Oversee and manage a department programming budget.
  • Evaluate the success and impact of events and programs.
  • Maintain records and documentation for reporting and assessment.
  • Provide ongoing informal counseling and support to students.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor to students navigating leadership roles and involvement.
  • Attend bi-weekly staff meetings and monthly Campus Life meetings.
  • Participate in regular one-on-one meetings with the supervisor.
  • Serve on departmental, divisional, or university committees or task forces as requested.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
