Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct nutrition assessments and follow-ups as needed to assess participants’ nutritional status and provide appropriate medical nutrition therapy (MNT).
  • Support Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) compliance by planning menus to meet requirements and conducting quarterly CACFP foodservice audits.
  • Support meal service by planning therapeutic menus, maintaining diet records, and conducting monthly food safety audits.
  • Conduct in-services as needed for the kitchen staff and/or IDT members to ensure accurate and evidence-based nutrition care practices.
  • Assist with program planning and implementation, participate in CQI initiatives, and serve on interdisciplinary committees to improve participant health outcomes and the delivery of nutrition care services.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience in clinical nutrition as Registered Dietitian and experience working with the frail elderly preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin preferred.
  • Food Protection Manager Certification preferred.
