Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 6+ years of relevant compensation experience, preferably in a high growth organization
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy
- Comfortable working with sensitive information
- Proven project management experience, including needs identification and assessment, gap and modeling analysis and solution design and implementation
- Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
- Advanced skill level in Excel
Responsibilities
- Lead annual compensation reviews, serving as the subject matter expert and program manager
- Be responsible for performing routine market research to keep salary structures and ranges up to date and aligned to Ginkgo's compensation philosophy
- Maintain company job architecture, including approving and benchmarking new job families and levels
- Work directly with leaders and managers across the company serving as the compensation subject matter expert
- Develop recommendations for new hire offer letters, promotions, and job changes
- Perform a regular pay equity analysis
- Review and update company equity compensation bands annually
- Contribute to the evolution of Ginkgo's compensation philosophy and ensure market competitiveness
- Deliver effective and relevant training and communication materials which educate team members on Ginkgo's compensation philosophy
- Manage and analyze complex data sets to distill insights and convey findings; build tools as required to improve efficiency
- Continually evaluate compensation programs to ensure they are legally compliant and driving the appropriate business results
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Workday and compensation planning systems
- Familiarity with global compensation programs
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
