Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field is required.
  • Zero to three years of experience, preferably in commercial real estate or structured finance.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Strong analytical, research, and reporting skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to read and interpret legal documents, including loan agreements.
  • Ability to occasionally perform physical activities including standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, and handling objects, tools, or controls.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability for evening or weekend work when necessary to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze loan collateral dynamics, determine value, and develop resolution strategies.
  • Conduct market analysis and research.
  • Engage and interact with third-party consultants, including attorneys, brokers, receivers, management and leasing companies, and appraisers.
  • Prepare quarterly business plans and cash flow projections.
  • Perform underwriting at the loan and property level for loan acquisition opportunities, distressed debt portfolios, and performing and non-performing loans in the company portfolio.
  • Underwrite loans secured by all property types across all 50 states in the United States.

  • Experience in commercial real estate or structured finance.

The goal is to maximize value for investors by delivering attractive risk-adjusted returns and recovering value from distressed assets across cycles.
