About the Company
At Torc, we have always believed that autonomous vehicle technology will transform how we travel, move freight, and do business.
A leader in autonomous driving since 2007, Torc has spent over a decade commercializing our solutions with experienced partners. Now a part of the Daimler family, we are focused solely on developing software for automated trucks to transform how the world moves freight.
Join us and catapult your career with the company that helped pioneer autonomous technology, and the first AV software company with the vision to partner directly with a truck manufacturer.
Meet the team:
The TPM (Technical Product Management) team’s mission is to accelerate the delivery of Torc’s product goals, by leveraging our expertise in people, product, and process management. Specifically, the Virtual Driver TPM team partners with Technology, Product, Systems, Safety and others, to develop the core Autonomy software stack, as well as internal tools and processes to accelerate product development. We apply our leadership, product, and project management skills to bring people together across the company to accomplish Torc’s mission.

As a TPM, you will work with all leaders of the group to manage and align technical roadmaps and work with the individual teams on executing them.
- As the products of the group are internal, your customers are internal. You are working closely with them to prioritize the groups’ work on their demands.
- As a TPM within the Virtual Driver product area, you will partner closely with the group leadership to define a vision, strategy and roadmap for the suite of tools and services the group is responsible for.
- Drive the development of solutions by clearly articulating the problem space and empowering engineering to design and implement innovative solutions.
- Be the voice of your internal customers and represent their needs, wants, and pain-points across Autonomy.
- Work with your team/cross-functional departments to optimize processes to accelerate Torc’s go-to-market strategy.
