Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent with relevant laboratory operations experience is required.
  • At least 2 years of laboratory technician or laboratory operations experience is required.
  • At least 1–2 years of purchasing, laboratory ordering, or material-management experience is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office 365, including strong proficiency in Excel, is required.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory inventory, materials, supplies, or stockroom support is required.
  • General knowledge of laboratory equipment, safety, and day-to-day laboratory activities is required.
  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology laboratory environment is required.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship is required.
  • The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with scientists, laboratory services, facilities, engineers, vendors, and other support teams.
  • The candidate must have strong organizational skills and be able to work independently.
  • The candidate must be able to quickly learn new computer systems.
Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day laboratory operations within biologics development laboratories.
  • Support laboratory inventory and material management.
  • Maintain stockroom supplies.
  • Place and track laboratory orders.
  • Coordinate consumable needs.
  • Assist with sample movement and routine laboratory readiness activities.
  • Assist with basic equipment support and low-level calibration activities.
  • Sanitize equipment and maintain maintenance documentation and work orders.
  • Organize freezers and cold rooms.
  • Conduct expired-material cleanouts and laboratory safety walkthroughs.
  • Maintain instrument usage records.
  • Work closely with scientists, laboratory services, facilities, engineers, vendors, and other support groups across multiple laboratory areas.
Desired Qualifications
  • An associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP Ariba is preferred.
  • 5S experience is preferred.
  • Experience supporting equipment calibration or basic instrument maintenance is preferred.
  • Experience supporting a large laboratory environment or multiple laboratory areas is preferred.
