About Our Program
You’ll be joining the JD Vanguard (JDV) Graduate Program, our frontline leadership pathway for the next generation of supply chain talent. Over the course of a year, you’ll take on real projects, build technical and people-leadership skills, and learn how JD Logistics operates at a global level, with the opportunity to extend and continue your journey.
- Bill Reconciliation and Exception Handling: Review logistics costs, insurance premiums, and other bills, identify data discrepancies, and drive resolution of exceptions to ensure timely collection of receivables, reduce bad debt risk, and improve settlement efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Process Optimization and System Improvement: Analyze pain points in the settlement process, propose system function optimization requirements and drive their implementation, design automation tools to reduce manual intervention, enhance settlement efficiency and accuracy, and support business scalability.
- Risk Control and Compliance Management: Monitor contract terms, settlement documents, and fund flows, identify compliance risks, and develop preventive measures to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements, safeguarding company funds and maintaining a compliant corporate image.
- Cross-Department Collaboration and Support: Coordinate with business and technical departments to allocate resources, resolve bottlenecks in the settlement process, provide financial training and data support, promote policy implementation, and improve cross-team collaboration efficiency and business health.
- Data Analysis and Decision Support: Regularly produce settlement analysis reports, use data modeling to identify operational risks and optimization opportunities, provide decision-making support to management, and assist in business strategy adjustments and goal achievement.
- Accounts Receivable Management and Bad Debt Monitoring: Track accounts receivable aging and payment progress, develop and implement collection strategies, conduct statistical analysis of bad debt causes, and propose process improvement suggestions to ensure efficient cash flow and financial stability.
About you
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with numbers and data
- Interest in financial operations, billing, and process optimization
- Basic understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and/or Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities
- English proficiency is required
- 6-month full-time internship, fully onsite in our Dublin office
- ASAP start date preferred, with potential opportunity to convert to a full-time position based on performance
