JOB TITLE: Summer 2023 Intern - Jr. Designer Intern

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The Creative Team Intern has a great understanding of web and print experiences and campaigns. You are highly organized and can conceive of engaging ideas that help propel a client’s brand and result in visually stunning creative solutions. They are able to work collaboratively with the Senior Design / Art Director, as well as work independently and within brand guidelines. Some jobs will require you to produce your ideas and visions, while others will require hands-on design and production following the look and feel of existing designs. They will also work collaboratively with the copywriters, web designer and creative directors to come up with solid concepts and then own those ideas through to completion with minimal direction.
YOUR IMPACT (RESPONSIBILITIES):
Project area focus of Intern will focus in on one of these areas:
- Branding events, print campaigns, social media campaigns and designing collateral with a consistent and cohesive look and feel including, but not limited to:
- Designing event signage such as pull-up banners and booth displays
- Design and production of printed posters and flyers
- Creating artwork to be printed on schwag such as shirts, and other various promotional items
- Designing advertisements for digital signage
- Creating web banner advertisements for social media campaigns
- Works in creative team, consisting of art director, copywriter and web marketing leader
- Responsible for understanding the salesforce.com brand guidelines and staying consistent with them
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Current sophomore/ rising junior (Graduation Spring 2025) pursuing Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design
- Excellent teamwork & communication skills
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic
- Enthusiastic self-starter
- Proficiency in MS Office - Excel, Access, Word, and Powerpoint
- The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of all Adobe software. Experience with basic understanding of visual communication and branding.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS (Optional):
- Figma and Asana experience a plus, in addition to Adobe Software.
- Experience with creating digital media, websites, social media assets, and merchandise (t-shirts, stickers, water bottles) is a plus.
- Candidate should feel comfortable working on projects in a fast-paced, solutions-oriented environment.
