Emplify by Gundersen and Mayo Clinic Health System awarded the UW Regents Business Partnership Award

Emplify by Gundersen and Mayo Clinic Health System awarded the UW Regents Business Partnership Award. * maurice savage * feb 11, 2026. LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - Mayo Clinic Health System and Emplify Health by Gundersen have received the UW Regents Business Partnership Award, recognizing their collaboration with the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UWL). The ongoing partnership between Emplify and Mayo has been pivotal in offering world-class healthcare. It has focused on nurturing the next generation of medical professionals, creating a direct employment pipeline for UWL graduates. "One percent of Mayo's entire worldwide workforce of 80,000 got their degree from UWL," said UWL Chancellor James Beeby. "That's the highest percentage of any university, so more folks work in Mayo from UWL than any other university." Mayo Clinic Health System Administrative Chair Tanner Holst is dedicated to aiding the next generation of medical professionals in the Coulee region. This commitment is his way of giving back to the community that shaped his future. "It's like a full circle for me, where I was a student at one point, and now I feel like I'm helping this university actually lead forward," said Holst. "Like, working directly with the chancellor and others to make it thrive in the future." The UW Regents Business Partnership Award is presented periodically throughout the year, recognizing innovative collaborations between the university and businesses. Top videos.
