- 1-5+ years of experience
- Experience in the ESG field/industry
- Consulting experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Partner with sales team and maintain a productive and positive relationship
- Contributes to team sales quotas
- Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
- Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame
- Self-enabling; rapidly acquires new technical skills and domain knowledge
- Maintains strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally through various means (e-mail, Slack, written, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Leads solution designs, presentations and demonstrations to prospects and customers
- Works closely with a variety of teams including; Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Customer Success, Solution Architects, Competitive Intelligence, and other content contributors and resources
- Proactively scopes the solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and Diligent
- Contextualizes the value of our solutions to our clients through value-driven presentations and demonstrations
- Client consultative partner that meets customers where they are, guides them to a better strategy, and aides in the execution with product via ESG managed services engagements
- Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements
- Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within Diligent and the prospect
- Owns and completes product and information security responses for RFPs/RFIs
- Secures from customer staff commitments needed to ensure a deal’s “technical win”
- Meets assigned targets for sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or other teams supported
- Acts as a Diligent ambassador; attends events and tradeshows representing Diligent
- Provides coaching and professional development to team members and sales colleagues in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills
