As we prepare to launch our commercial robotaxi services, we are seeking talented, mission-driven individuals with a strong history of delivery to join us in fundamentally changing how the world moves.

What you’ll be doing:

Conduct primary and secondary research on market trends and competitive dynamics in the autonomous mobility space to inform Motional’s long-term strategy
Develop and maintain competitor benchmarking materials outlining key movements, commercial and technology strategies, and financial performance to deliver insights to Motional’s management team
Assist in preparing materials for Board of Directors meetings and other official communications with shareholders
Develop and maintain a dynamic market sizing model to quantify total addressable market (TAM) for Motional’s target markets/use cases
Partner with Finance and Commercialization teams to support ongoing maintenance of Motional’s commercial business plan and conduct scenario analysis to pressure test key assumptions
Support Engineering teams to develop strategic product roadmaps and assess new opportunities to leverage Motional’s technology, and prepare materials for executive review
Conduct secondary research to support various strategy development projects (e.g., transportation landscape across key regions, regulatory analysis, product and competitive analysis, etc…)

What we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, economics, or other relevant field of study
1-3 years of experience in Strategy Consulting, Corporate Strategy / Development, or other related field, preferably within software/technology or automotive/mobility industries
Excellent presentation skills and ability to develop executive-ready materials in PowerPoint or Google Slides
High level of intellectual curiosity and ability to grasp new concepts quickly
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret both quantitative and qualitative data and synthesize multiple data sources into a cohesive, executive-level deliverable
Ability to multitask and work in an organized, detailed manner
Self-starter with the ability to deal with ambiguity

Bonus points:

Experience in the autonomous vehicle or mobility space is a bonus but not required

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors including but not limited to specific skills, experience and expertise, role location, certifications, licenses, and business needs. The estimated compensation range listed in this job posting reflects base salary only. This role may include additional forms of compensation such as a bonus or company equity. Salary Range

$109,000—$145,000 USD
