  • Demonstrated fundamentals of leadership, including clear and proactive communication, meeting moderation, and oversight of large cross-disciplinary initiatives
  • Capable of managing multiple competing tasks and be self-directed to meet deadlines in a quickly evolving environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong desire to iterate and improve on processes
  • Ability to coach, lead, mitigate, and prioritize through stressful situations for you and your team
  • Collaborative team centric focus with an excellent ability to deliver and receive constructive feedback
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. Comfortable interacting and presenting to all levels of the company, key stakeholders, and publishers
  • 7-10+ years experience in a related role
  • At least 5 years writing experience in gaming, including dialogue, characters, treatments, and cinematics
  • Preferred 5 years experience in interactive narrative mobile games, and has led multiple projects
  • Proven track record in creating and maintaining creative direction
  • Strong understanding of the daily ebb and flow of game development
  • Experience communicating a game vision to teams and partners
  • Experience in all production phases from Concept to Live Operations, having shipped at least one title
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the project creative vision, story, and execution, ensure the creative vision of the original IP
  • Lead team to bring creative vision to life, working with other cross-functional leads
  • Act as lead writer of the project, own the story
  • Partner with the creative team to bring vision to life
  • Work closely with Producer to ensure project is delivered on time and on budget
  • Stay abreast of technical restrictions or requirements and schedule/production impacts
  • Liaise with stakeholders and IP holders for all approvals & feedback as needed
  • Partner with Head of Product and Head of Story to establish KPIs, ensure team alignment
  • Establish, apply, and drive best practices for assigned project
  • Identify, predict, resolve problems in a timely, cost-effective manner, remove roadblocks for your team
  • Maintain current and working knowledge on industry/market trends, make recommendations as appropriate
  • Coach the team in a way that encourages autonomy, mastery, and purpose
  • Supervise, train, mentor, motivate and support the team
  • Lead by example, creating a strong sense of purpose and community, promoting a culture of excellence and inclusivity, encouraging a sustainable work/life balance
