alliantgroup provides tax and management consulting services to help small and mid-sized businesses identify and claim government tax credits, such as the Research and Development (R&D) Tax Credit. To do this, a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and tax attorneys uses proprietary AI tools to analyze a company's projects, document qualifying activities, and manage the entire filing process. Unlike many competitors, the firm employs former IRS commissioners and technical experts to provide audit defense and partners directly with CPA firms to offer specialized knowledge. The firm's goal is to ensure that smaller businesses have the same access to financial incentives as large corporations to help them reinvest in their growth and operations.

Don’T Overlook The Impact Of Ai On Data Management

Join us in returning to NYC on June 5th to collaborate with executive leaders in exploring comprehensive methods for auditing AI models regarding bias, performance, and ethical compliance across diverse organizations. Find out how you can attend here. In an age that celebrates lightning-fast technological advancement, organizational data management continues to fall short. Yes, we have moved through the data warehouse, big data, data lake and now even lake house phases, yet none of this infrastructure is moving the needle far enough. In most organizations, the laborious and error-prone task of keying in data is still prevalent. Data remains disconnected throughout departments, the quality of data is often under scrutiny and employees at all levels of the organization struggle to access insights from the information they do receive. Now, the next big thing — AI — is already here and everyone is trying to move on without having solved their data issues. Maybe you haven’t been keeping up, but data enforces AI, and all your data problems will stop you from using AI to stay competitive

Congressional Backlog Ramifications For The Farm Bill

The gavel has finally been passed to a permanent speaker in the House of Representatives. Time will . [+] tell how much progress can be made on the backlog of important legislative actions including the Farm Bill Getty ImagesThe House of Representatives was without a Speaker for 21 days, and so there is now a significant backlog of legislative business left to be addressed. It is not yet clear how much can be accomplished given the atmosphere of intra- and inter-party conflict that still prevails. The Farm Bill is one of the many pieces of standard congressional business that has been on hold, but when the funding of the entire government needs to be at least extended, and when responses are required for multiple international conflicts, it seems likely that there could be delays. For decades the Farm Bill has been an omnibus package of laws about new and existing agriculture or nutrition programs (e.g. SNAP). If congress is not able to draft and pass a new Farm Bill before the end of the year, they may instead pass an extension of the current bill and deal with it in 2024

alliantgroup Vice Chairman and Former IRS Commissioner, Mark Everson Statement on Today's IRS Announcement on ERC: At alliantgroup we have helped thousands of taxpayers claim this important benefit. That said, we have also screened out thousands of potential claimants who don't qualify for the Employee Retention Credit. In too many instances other so-called experts have then stepped in and assisted them in securing monies from the government under the flimsiest of justifications. This dynamic is damaging the tax community. alliantgroup fully supports the moratorium on processing new claims announced by Commissioner Werfel.HOUSTON, Sept. 14, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- alliantgroup Vice Chairman and Former IRS Commissioner, Mark Everson Statement on Today's IRS Announcement on ERC:At alliantgroup we have helped thousands of taxpayers claim this important benefit
