Location:

We are seeking a Full-Time Optometry Assistant to join our team in the Virginia Beach, VA area with a travel radius up to about two hours. Paid drive time and mileage stipend! Any drive over two hours will be eligible for an overnight stay with hotel and meal allowance. This role pays between $16.00 to $20.00 per hour plus fifty cents per mile and is for four days per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. No experience needed; we are willing to train the right person! Travel does vary throughout the week and month and your schedule two to three weeks in advance!

Duties:

Arrive before the doctor to get the clinic set up at the facility.
Transport patients to and from the exam area at the facility.
Assist the doctor with vision pretesting, working with glasses and scribing as needed.

Requirements:

Entry Level - Training Provided
Current Valid Driver’s License
Previous optometry technician experience is a plus!
