Requirements
  • Holds a degree or equivalent qualification at SCQF level 9 in Social Work, Applied Psychology, Mental Health Nursing, or a related field
  • Has completed courses and qualifications and possesses experience in theoretical models and applied therapeutic techniques relevant to pragmatic therapies, CBT, trauma treatment, child development, substance abuse treatment and behavioural therapy
  • Possesses knowledge and experience in family systems, social ecological, and cognitive behavioural therapy theories and their application
  • New workers must obtain registration with the relevant regulatory body within six months of their start date
  • Is able to travel within Fife
Responsibilities
  • Providing intensive family intervention services to families at risk due to physical abuse and/or neglect
  • Managing a specialized caseload
  • Conducting MST assessments
  • Engaging caregivers in treatment
  • Delivering clinical treatment aligned with MST principles
  • Maintaining clear documentation for review
  • Independently managing the caseload with empirically-based interventions
  • Participating in MST-CAN training and consultations
  • Building relationships with community stakeholders to ensure cooperation among service providers
