  • You have 6+ years of experience in college counseling, student advising, or postsecondary access work.
  • You have proven ability to lead a department, manage staff, and set a strategic vision.

  • You have strong organizational, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
  • You have experience working with diverse students, that includes/but not limited to predominantly low-income, first generation college students.
  • You are professional, warm, and collaborative with students, families, and colleagues.
  • You are committed to fostering diversity by cultivating anti-racist practices and removing bias, empowering students with the resources they need to create choice filled lives for themselves and their futures.
  • You are able to start in July of 2025.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a research-based readiness program for grades 9-12.
  • Organize college visits, career fairs, and financial aid workshops.
  • Engage families through parent meetings and info sessions.
  • Provide 1:1 and group counseling on post-secondary pathways.
  • Guide students and families through applications and financial aid.
  • Track student outcomes and engage alumni in persistence support.
  • Build relationships with colleges, trade schools, and industry partners.
  • Establish internships, mentorships, and dual enrollment programs.
  • Educate students on FAFSA, scholarships, and funding options.
  • Partner with organizations to expand financial aid access.
  • Set and execute a vision aligned with Brooke’s mission.
  • Manage staff, budget, Alumni Persistence Fund and data-driven program improvements.
