Requirements
  • A valid Class A or Class B commercial driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record is required.
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required.
  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential card is required.
  • The candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment Department of Transportation-regulated drug screen.
  • The candidate must meet and maintain Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration physical and medical requirements.
  • The candidate is subject to quarterly random drug screens under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and Department of Transportation regulations.
  • The candidate must be available to work weekends when necessary.
Responsibilities
  • Load and unload DEF trucks in accordance with company and governmental regulations.
  • Safely operate trucks according to company policies and state and federal laws.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and replace gaskets, nozzles, and other related items as necessary.
  • Perform safety inspections on trucks, equipment, and facilities as required by company policy.
  • Perform daily service checks on oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank-related items.
  • Report equipment malfunctions and concerns to the Fleet Manager.
  • Complete and transmit paperwork in compliance with established company procedures.
  • Use loading arms and card readers at rack facilities, auxiliary pumps for loading and unloading vehicles, spill kits, and fire extinguishers.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior fuel truck driver experience is preferred.
