Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of customer management and social marketing/networking tools
  • Professional experience, preferably in outbound sales, business development, or high-stakes account management
  • High resilience, exceptional verbal/written communication for C-Suite interactions
  • Ability to learn Canon products and competitors
  • Ability to work autonomously and have excellent relationship management skills
  • Strong communication skills including the desire to build solid working relationships with a variety of businesses
  • Interest in learning new technology in an evolving industry
  • May require up to 25% national travel, including overnight travel
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Canon will not pursue visa sponsorship / All applicants must reside in the United States at the time of hire
Responsibilities
  • Initiate contact with pre-validated prospects by targeting key decision makers
  • Execute high volume sales activities while engaging with key stakeholders
  • Develop new business opportunities and support the strategic business plan
  • Provide strategic prospecting by identifying and prioritizing high-value Enterprise accounts
  • Act as lead for activities supporting specific strategic contracts which result in qualified opportunities and appointments
  • Attend key industry events
  • Partner with Senior Sales Executives for seamless transition of prospects
  • Utilize and update activities in Salesforce CRM
