Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an accredited dermatology residency program.
  • Board-eligible or board-certified in Dermatology.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure.
  • DEA registration or eligibility.
  • Expertise in medical and procedural dermatology.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage complex and chronic dermatologic conditions.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and high-quality patient care.
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity for dermatologic examinations and procedures.
  • Visual acuity sufficient for detailed skin assessment.
  • Must maintain state certification and/or licensure.
  • Must be legally licensed to practice medicine in North Dakota and/or Minnesota, depending on the assigned practice location.
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of dermatologic conditions.
  • Diagnose and treat inflammatory, infectious, autoimmune, and neoplastic skin disorders.
  • Perform dermatologic procedures such as biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and other office-based treatments consistent with training and privileges.
  • Diagnose and manage skin cancers, including melanoma and non-melanoma malignancies.
  • Provide medical management of chronic conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and dermatitis.
  • Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, preventive skin care, and sun protection.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and outcomes initiatives.
  • Supervise and educate residents, fellows, advanced practice providers, or clinical staff as applicable.
  • Comply with all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards.
