Requirements
  • Perform tasks in accordance with batch records, standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and current Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs on packaging equipment.
  • Possess knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices and production practices.
  • Have experience in a lean production or manufacturing environment.
  • Have reliable transportation and good attendance and time-management skills.
  • Have experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, including 5S, visual schedules, PDCA, and M1.
  • Be able to train on area standard operating procedures and on-the-job training materials covering equipment, processes, and paperwork.
  • Have experience working with a technical writer and creating and maintaining training documentation.
  • Have a minimum of one year of packaging experience.
  • Have basic mathematics, English communication, legible penmanship, and reading comprehension skills.
  • Be able to follow detailed instructions.
  • Have basic Microsoft applications and general computer skills.
  • Have mechanical reasoning and troubleshooting skills.
  • Have strong mechanical skills and experience using various hand tools.
  • Be able to routinely lift 20–50 pounds, sit and stand for prolonged periods, and maintain manual dexterity and production pace.
  • Use required personal protective equipment, including hard hats, steel-toed shoes, eye protection, gloves, and protective clothing.
  • Be able to work flexible hours and overtime, including up to every other weekend.
  • Not be sensitive to cephalosporins when working in the cephalosporin manufacturing facility.
  • Possess or obtain authorization to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Inspect and package products in a lean pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Handle materials and set up packaging lines with right-first-time accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and adjust processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of completed tasks.
  • Perform all PO duties.
  • Perform line clearances, material check-in, and the operator care process.
  • Follow the escalation process and understand schedule attainment, batch records, PAS-X, and 5S.
  • Navigate SAP and use Vorne and JOE.
  • Operate one full line of approximately five pieces of equipment.
  • Provide leadership to line operators and communicate effectively with support personnel and leadership.
  • Work with the team to maintain the production schedule and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Zoetis drops 40% in 2025 as Michael Burry bets on beaten-down animal health stock

Zoetis, an animal health company, has drawn attention from investor Michael Burry, who is long the stock according to Substack disclosures cited by media outlets. Zoetis misses Q2 revenue target, slashes full-year guidance by 6.1% amid vet visit decline

Zoetis appoints GE Healthcare CFO Jay Saccaro as dual finance chief and COO

Zoetis has appointed former GE Healthcare CFO Jay Saccaro to a newly created dual role as CFO and chief operating officer, effective 17 August. Saccaro, who spent three years at GE Healthcare and nine years as CFO at Baxter International Healthcare, will receive an annual base salary of $1 million, with eligibility for bonuses totalling 100% of his salary and long-term incentives worth $5 million. He will also receive a one-time restricted stock unit award valued at approximately $6.2 million and a cash award of $1.2 million. Current CFO Wetteny Joseph will transition to special advisor on 16 August, remaining in a non-executive role until February 2027 or an earlier agreed date. The appointment comes as the New Jersey-based animal health company seeks new growth opportunities amid economic headwinds.

Adjusted diluted earnings per share rose 4% to $1.87, whilst adjusted net income fell 2% to $781 million. However, livestock revenue grew 11% to $731 million, driven by demand in cattle and poultry. International markets provided growth momentum, with revenue up 6% to $1.2 billion, whilst US revenue fell 7% to $1.3 billion. Companion animal diagnostics revenue increased 12% to $118 million. For full-year 2026, Zoetis expects revenue of $9.12 billion to $9.32 billion and adjusted diluted EPS of $6.15 to $6.25.
