The Plastic Surgery RN-OR Circulator/Clinic is a vital member of the surgical team, responsible for coordinating and controlling multidisciplinary activities to ensure a safe, seamless, and patient-centered operative experience. This position also assists with clinical duties in the aesthetic clinic as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Operative:

• Ensure accurate patient identification and surgical planning
• Inspect and prepare OR for cleanliness, safety, and equipment readiness
• Assist in preparing surgical instruments and supplies per surgeon’s preferences
• Perform pre-op assessments and assist patient transfer to OR

Intra-Operative:

• Serve as patient advocate during anesthesia induction and surgery
• Anticipate surgical team needs and maintain sterile field integrity
• Document intra-operative data, manage counts, and handle specimens

Post-Operative:

• Assist with patient recovery and transfer to PACU
• Provide detailed patient condition reports
• Complete post-op documentation and room turnover

Clinic Support:

• Assist with pre- and post-op patient assessments
• Support non-surgical procedures and consultations as needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada
• Minimum 1 year of perioperative nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Strong understanding of surgical and aseptic technique
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Physical ability to assist in patient transfers and OR readiness
