Requirements
  • A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Natural Sciences, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Be an undergraduate student in the Class of 2027 completing a four-year degree.
  • Have a data-driven mindset and proficiency with numbers, with the ability to explain sophisticated data science concepts understandably to clients and colleagues.
  • Have a strong commitment to teamwork and resilience in a creative and constantly changing environment.
  • Have excellent command of the English language, verbal and written.
  • Have valid authorization or the ability to obtain valid authorization to work in both Canada and the United States.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients at all levels to help solve clients' analytical challenges.
  • Design potential solutions for analytical challenges.
  • Implement analytical prototypes and assess their effectiveness.
  • Engage in discussions with clients and colleagues to share ideas.
  • Develop machine-learning toolkits to predict credit-rating downgrades using news articles.
  • Model portfolio decarbonization strategies using advanced analytics techniques.
  • Optimize and develop promotional programs using historical promotion data by deploying promotion analytics toolkits.
  • Validate customer-facing generative artificial intelligence chatbots.
  • Develop probability-of-default and loss models in Python.
  • Identify supply-chain risks by combining multiple live data feeds and develop and apply bespoke artificial-intelligence-based risk methodologies.
  • Develop next-best-action models to reduce customer churn.
  • Perform commercial due diligence on artificial-intelligence maritime collision-detection software systems and assess the impacts of future regulatory changes.
  • Implement artificial intelligence to remediate billing discrepancies.
  • Assess companies' artificial-intelligence readiness.
  • Restructure the pricing proposition of a financial-services firm as part of a value-creation plan.
