Requirements
  • Currently pursuing degree in a Computer Science or other related discipline required
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Experience with source control (git), and software testing frameworks (pytest)
  • Enjoys learning new technologies, skills, and techniques as well as teaching them to others
  • Cloud-hosted environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • UI Automation Test Development (SmartBear, Ranorex, Telerik, etc…)
  • Comfortable with Windows, and Linux
Responsibilities
  • Develop high quality code and packages following software engineering best practices
  • Evaluate Automation results and propose changes, optimizations, and fixes
  • Develop automation code to validate actions of complex computer systems
  • Work together with a team of software engineers to enhance automation infrastructure
  • Collaborate with Test Engineers to design new tests
  • Interaction with software development, firmware, and hardware groups required in identifying defects within system software and embedded code bases
  • Test, install, and setup target environments for state of the are automated material handling system
  • Work with defect tracking systems, creating manual & automatic test cases, choosing test tools, creating and installing software on target test environments, and recording test results for an automated material handling system
