Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of the Pan-European Digital Shelf strategy across priority retailers, markets and brands.
  • Coordinate with agency partners and market teams to improve product detail page compliance, premium content, search optimisation, and ratings and reviews execution.
  • Track digital shelf performance across content completeness, search placement, share of page, availability visibility, ratings and reviews, and overall digital shelf health.
  • Partner with Retail Media, Commercial and Marketing teams to define keyword priorities, improve organic search placement and support high-converting landing pages.
  • Run structured test-and-learn activity, including A/B testing where available, to improve traffic, conversion and shopper experience.
  • Own product content governance and syndication within the product information management system, ensuring a single source of truth and accurate content flow to retailers and marketplaces.
  • Implement product information management processes, train stakeholders, monitor data quality, and optimise digital shelf performance through governance and reporting.
  • Lead agency relationships to run customer and market audits identifying actions that improve product detail page quality, taxonomy, site search, visibility and conversion.
  • Analyse competitor activity, retailer algorithms, content execution and market trends, and share practical recommendations with stakeholders.
  • Track ratings, reviews and consumer sentiment to identify recurring themes and provide actionable insights to Brand, Commercial and market teams.
  • Use artificial intelligence tools to automate recurring reporting, performance summaries and market-level digital shelf insights.
  • Use artificial intelligence-enabled workflows to identify content gaps, keyword opportunities, review themes and execution risks across regional markets.
  • Build scalable templates, dashboards and process improvements that reduce manual effort and enable faster action by local teams.

Jefferies lifts Haleon price target to 410p on margin beat despite growth concerns

Jefferies has raised its price target for Haleon to 410p from 400p, maintaining a Buy rating. The consumer health company, which owns brands including Sensodyne and Advil, beat margin expectations by 70 basis points in the first half. Haleon delivered organic sales growth of 3.1% in the second quarter. Oral Health grew 6.2%, driven by Sensodyne and Parodontax, whilst Pain Relief accelerated 4.6% on Voltaren gel expansion. However, Respiratory products declined 6.5% amid a weak cold and flu season. Gross margin expanded 140 basis points on productivity savings, lifting operating margin by 160 basis points to 24.3%. Jefferies noted North America returned to 3.1% growth, showing management-led turnaround gaining traction. The broker said Haleon needs growth exceeding 5% in the second half to reach its full year guidance midpoint.

Haleon prices $2B bond offering to repurchase 2027 notes

Haleon's US subsidiary, Haleon US Capital LLC, has launched and priced a $2 billion fixed-rate bond offering. The offering comprises three tranches: $600 million in notes maturing in 2029 with a 4.625% coupon, $600 million in notes maturing in 2031 with a 4.875% coupon, and $800 million in notes maturing in 2036 with a 5.375% coupon. The offering is scheduled to settle on 21 August 2026. Payment of principal and interest is fully guaranteed by Haleon plc. The company plans to use the net proceeds, together with cash on hand if necessary, to repurchase its outstanding $1,999,350,000 3.375% fixed rate senior notes due March 2027 and for general corporate purposes. Barclays Capital, BofA Securities, Deutsche Bank Securities, Goldman Sachs and Mizuho Securities acted as joint book-running managers.

Haleon H1 2026: Organic growth hits 3.1%, margins up 120bp as North America rebounds

Haleon reported H1 2026 results ending 30 July, showing improved organic sales growth of 3.1% in Q2, with volume and mix up 1.4%. North America delivered strong progress at 3.1% growth, driven by shelf resets, innovation, and e-commerce momentum. Operating margin improved 120 basis points at constant currency, supported by supply chain efficiency and gross margin expansion of 140 basis points. Emerging markets achieved 6.3% growth in Q2, with India and Latin America leading performance. EPS grew 12% in H1. However, respiratory health remained weak, reducing organic growth by 150 basis points. Europe proved challenging with only 0.4% growth, whilst Middle East markets including Dubai and Pakistan experienced significant declines. The company acknowledged performing below its 4–6% medium-term growth target, with particular gaps in Europe and the Middle East.
