Envestnet is seeking a passionate and talented Client Billing Lead to join our Finance team. This position is expected to report to our Denver, CO office.

Job Summary:   

This position is essential to ensuring the highest level of billing accuracy and reporting through the maintenance of internal systems and adherence to financial reporting processes.This is a great position for those who want to grow their career and thrive in a fast-paced environment and evolving organization.   

Job Responsibilities:   

• Responsible for complex billing work on specific clients including fee billing analysis, trouble shooting, adjustment billing, fee calculation validation, fee billing procedural documentation and process analysis.
• Communicating with client regarding progress, questions, and concerns. Be a SME for the team and for clients.
• Adherence to SLA’s and other month end financial deliverable deadlines for each billing cycle
• Assist in financial and SOX audits quarterly and annually.
• Researching resolving complex billing issues
• Understand downstream accounting impact of billing transactions
• Special projects as assigned.
• Train new employees on specific tasks, be available for questions and assistance to existing team members.
• Drive process improvements and create operational efficiencies while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Act as a back-up for the team supervisor and be leader within the team.
• Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
• As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet’s established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications:    

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• 5-6 years billing, finance, accounting or related field experience experience required.
• Experience with MS Excel required.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry preferred.
• Must be analytical and detail oriented.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Salary:   

The annual base salary range for this position is $72,000 to $108,000.
